Hi this is my first post so hope i make sense lol . My partner's son as just completed 3 yrs apprentice commercial technicain as just been sigend off . While doing this he was not given contract via the company , untill last week . The thing i need advice on his ,he's not been informed that redundancies will be made in the compnay due to loss of a big contract .If he is chosen as one of those to leave , will he be due intitiled to anythink . Hi, apprentices (if its a formal apprenticeship) do not always have the same employment rights as other permanent employees. He needs to take his contract to the local CAB so it can be determined what his position is.
