thats scottish for sandwiches /for work tomorrow,in his bag he gets a banana,crisps,can juice,cheese dippers and a yoghurt

Did mine when the kids we having their tea. If I start doing it any earlier I may as well make them all on a Sunday and freeze em.

thats an idea now,by the way my kid is 23,this is for his work
I was going to say 'let him make his own' but then thought better of it - if any of mine are still here at that age I would make their sarnies for them.
I would never put that broccoli in my sons lunch...
Do you mean pieces as in pieces of bread?
My MIL used to talk about making jeely pieces for his dad.

aye' peeces are bread.
I've always translated pieces as sarnies..... piece'n'jam.
You brought back a memory for me. - Where I used to live the guy next door was a cheese-a-holic, his wife made his sandwiches for work for all the 20 yesrs I knew them and it was cheese sandwiches every day,
She would make them in bulk and left them in the freezer, every day he'd take his frozen sarnies out and by lunchtime they had defrosted and were fresh and cool to eat.

jem.i'm gonna start doing that on a sunday night,i'll keep the bottom drawer of the freezer for the 'sandwichs'
