my boiler has started to make an awful droning noise after the flame has ignited...

it goes on for about 15-20 seconds...any ideas why anyone?

the only suggestion I've to offer is it's to do with water pressure or lack thereof.
Just give her a slap.................................when was she last serviced?
Hi stokemaceric We have the same problem with our Glow Worm boiler-it drives the neighbours mad.The engineer says he can't do anything about it because its an intermittent problem!

mine started with a drone then high pitched screech - the pump had packed up.
its probably that the impellar on your pump is knackered eventually it will become detached and the you will not have hot water or heating.My advice i8s to get a new pumpo fitted,I hope this helps
