I have an apple i touch, but I cannot access my e mails in Outlook Express. My email account goes through Manx.net. Their help team tells me they only deal with i phones.
Anyone in the Isle of Man had this problem, or am I alone in this??

I haven't got a clue about the Apple iTouch but the usual problems associated with Outlook Express relate to the program losing the correct settings. Assuming that the mobile version of Outlook Express is similar to the desktop version, you need to go to Tools>Accounts and click on the Mail tab. Then click on the name of your account and then on 'Properties'. You then need to click through the tabs to check that the following details are correctly entered into the relevant fields:
1. Your email address (Obvious!)
2. Your username (which, unless Manx.net has told you otherwise, will be the bit before the @ symbol in your email address)
3. Your password. (It will be starred out. If in doubt delete it and retype it)
4. The type of incoming mail server (POP3).
5. The name of the incoming mail server. (With Manxnet Mail that's mailin.manx.net. With Manxnet Mail Plus it's mailplusin.manx.net)
6. The name of the outgoing mail server (With Manxnet Mail that's mailout.manx.net. With Manxnet Mail Plus it's mailplusout.manx.net)
7. There should be a tick alongside 'Remember password'.
8. There should be a tick alongside 'My server requires authentication'.
9. There should be NO tick alongside 'Log on using secure password authentication'.

If anything's wrong, change it, click 'Apply', 'OK' and 'Close'.

If you've not even got any account details entered yet, instead of clicking on 'Properties' click on 'Add>Mail'. Then follow these instructions for

or these for Manxnet Mail Plus
