I think it is supposed to feel warm.....not hot...on the inside of your wrist.

That sounds about right....is it for yeast by any chance?

No, it's for chocolate pie and it's only to make sure an ingredient dissolves properly, but I don't want the other ingredients to *cook* if you see what I mean.
