How do I send money to France? What does it cost? The recipient has sent me a scan of a RIB with all their bank details ...... will my bank (LTSB) be able to organise this? I only need to send 25 Euros ..... thanks.

Your bank can organise it but are going to charge you getting on for as much again for the privilege

For that sort of sum - cash in the mail. If you are paranoid send it international recorded for something like a fiver total
Have they got a PayPal account ... that would propably be cheaper still.
To transfer money abroad via a bank is extremely expensive. (Fees usually start at around £30).

If you're sending money to someone you trust (rather to an unknown internet seller who might simply pocket the money and not send the goods), I can personally recommend Ikobo:

Otherwise, as Alavahalf suggests, PayPal is a good way to send money abroad. Explanatory video here:

Alternatively, as Dzug2 suggests, sending Euro notes might be easiest if you trust the recipient.

You could send notes, and send the item International Signed For, or Airsure (both cost around a fiver - maybe slightly more for Airsure, then you will know that the other person has received them.
