Has anyone else noticed in the car windscreen repair advert, when the lady driver has a crack in her windscreen it is quite large, but when the 'Auto Glass' repairer comes to fix it, the crack has shrunk to a small chip?

I think they are showing you the effect of the repair, well that's what I understood anyway.
Yes, they are demonstrating how it works...

Once again sorry but the crack gets smaller before the repairer gets to do any work on it.
So many adverts are shot out-of-sequence, it could be a continuity error, or else they made the crack look bigger in one shot so that it shows up on screen (your TV screen that is, not the wind-screen).
Here is a YouTube of the advert.
Now you can see what happens.
The advert goes along a pace then IT REWINDS to when the screen was just chipped and the voiceover explains that if you call Autoglass when it is just a chip - then it can be repaired (probably free). If you leave it then the whole screen needs to be replaced and will cost.

Thanks for that sometimesit, that is the trouble when they only show you a shortened version of the whole advert.
