When calling a UK phone number from abroad you dial +44 then omit the first zero as in
+44 (0) 1234 987654 Can anybody tell me if this is the case when ringing a UK registered mobile for example would a mobile with the number 07654 1234567 become +44 7654 1234567 omitting the first zero.

Thanks magicmerlin, I do need to be absolutely sure as I am having a few thousand business cards
printed tomorrow and I cant afford to have the wrong info on them.. how can I check for definite ?
you are correct.

If you want to check it dial it like that yourself, it will work fine.

I have to say that i have never had a problem ringing or texting from abroad without adding +44
