You need to find out the key competences for the role you are applying for and prepare in advance some examples of when you have demonstrated those competencies.

your aim should be to be a key performer in any group assessment, this is how any employer short lists people for one to one interview. most employers would be looking for someone who can mentor and encourage others at the assessment to contribute to group appraisals or assignments, not someone who takes control and becomes a leader. The team player who can bring out the talents of others is what most employers are after. Someone who can encourage others to develop their ideas and womeone who respects others input and contribution.
