parental permission and drinking

my daughter is 15 in 1 weeks time. From the age of 14 i have allowed her to drink small amounts of alchol within the family home on special occasions. i do this to prevent drinking on the streets and her having the temptation to go silly with drink. it has worked and i feel it has prevented all kinds of problems however am i within the law to have this liberal approach
