I posted for the help of a man for a plumbing question. And puddicat quite rightly pointed out could female plumbers not answer?

Do any ladies on here do a job that is seen to be a "mans job"?

I do a lot of things that are traditionally male area's, but I am a carer which is a female dominated area so it evens out :D
Hi !
Does driving a 40 tonne truck count ?
i do all the decorating and diy at home (i am the one with all the technical knowledge - to save my husband from himself and prevent things flying out the windows!) and i am a psychiatric nurse. spose that was traditionally a male job really - thinking of all the big burly men employed in the old bins! sometimes i wish i was a man when it all kicks off at work. being a 5'3'' lady and having to face screaming, raving people at times is scary sh**!!!!!!! but i use my charm and persuasion to keep things ticking along smoothly...x
Jeez SK, think I'd rather drive the truck !!!
Does being a mum and dad to my kids count..? mowing the lawn, changing bulbs, painting and decorating (quite badly)... but I can also slouch on the couch, hog the remote, drink beer and scratch.. so Yeah.. I can do a man's job!
One of my nieces is a joiner. That's quite unusual for a female (I think).
I cut the grass...
In a former life I was a telecomms data engineer.......
