Yes . I ordered a dress thatnever arrived, the seller did not respond to emails . Paypal refunded money quickly once the time of delivery had lapsed. I think it all in all took about a month tho'. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that, It does say on the paypal website that it takes about 30 days.........Just wondered if this was the norm...............by the way, this is a refund from the actual seller..........(he had stated the item as size large but then realised it was actually small so refunded me)...does it still work the same way?
Ah that should be a lot quicker...I had to go into dispute as could not get any responce from " seller" .
Yes I went into the dispute procedure but once things were clarified I got the refund within 14 working days.

It does say in my paypal account that the funds have been refunded, I just wondered how long it would take to be credited back to my debit card........Thanks for all your help
I am not sure that they get put back automatically, the funds might sit in your paypal account and you spend from there. I have a feeling that you YOU have to transfer the funds out.

The funds are not in my paypal account, it states the refund as " credit to Credit card"
It will up to 5 working days.

Thank you everyone for your help...........seems I'll have to wait Thanks again
Paypal take a fee out of the money which is refunded to you for admin. costs so you will get a little bit short of the full amount.

That's not correct.

If the person refunding does it correctly - using the refund link on the details page for the payment they received - then the person getting the refund will get the full amount that they originally paid.
