Philips SA6185 MP3 with video Player

Wonder if anyone can help.

We bought the above MP3 with video player and now have a problem in that the device is not recognised by any computer.

189 playlists have suddenly appeared on the machine, which we have not downloaded and as the computer does not recognise the machine we cannot delete them.

The machine will still play video and music OK but we cannot delete any items from it due to the non recognition problem, we have tried 4 computers and get the same result.

We have already carried out all the suggestions on the Philips website, Windows Device Manager says the machine will not start. We have also tried ringing Philips to no avail.
Has anyone any ideas if there is anything we can try next?
