i was told that is someone puts my picture on facebook ( from their pics) and i dont like it then i have the right to remove it, is this true?

Hmmm, not too sure of this. I think its up to the user whether they want to show it or not.
If its one of your friends, can you not request them to take it off?
you can "untag" yourself so that your name dosent appear
yeah but they can just type your name in manually

so even if you untag yourself your pic still remains then?
yep the picture will still be there until your friend removes it her- self. only the sender of the picture can delete it.
