I need to get to Kinson (near Bournemouth) by train. Is Bournemouth the nearest station? If so, are there buses to Kinson, or how much is a taxi likely to cost me?

I live in Bournemouth, get the train to Bournemouth station the get the 5a or 5b yellow bus, the bus terminus is right outside the station. If you go out the same entrance as the taxi rank you should see all the bus stops.

How long do these buses take and how often do they run?

looks like hey take 35 mins and run every 15 minutes untilk pretty late.

you should arroive on the correct side of the station as well

Just worked out it means I'd have to get up about 5.30am to get where I want to be for 10!

That's public transport! Now on an R1 it would take about 90 minutes....
