Can you rent out a house without a buy to let mortgage and keep it an interest only mortgage? TIA

Look at the terms and conditions of your mortgage.

You usually have to get permission from the lender to rent your house out.

This is simply because should you default on the mortgage and they need to repossess, having tenants unconnected to the default makes it very difficult.
Ethels right, speak to your mortgage lender. Mine allowed me, for a small fee, to rent without changing the mortgage.
