easyshare digital camera cx7220 and dock

hi a question for a friend...she has recently brought a digital camera and printing dock off ebay but she cant get it to charge.....when placed on the printing dock the camera switchs on then off but there is no indication that it is charging.... is there another lead needed??
the only thing that came with the dock was a usb lead and a mains wall charger for the dock........it has rechargable kodak batteries included....any help at all wouyld be appreciated thanks x
