this one is for my neighbuor he has just bought a panasonic cordless phone and he cannot make or receive calls he asks where is the the key lock he doesnt have a computer so has asked if anyone can help i havent a clue does anyone know the number is kx-tg7230e

found the answer he was using a splitter conection once we went to the main socket it worked so he is now happy thanks to all who read the question

PLEASE make sure that he also has a corded phone as well as cordless in case of powercuts. If there is no mains elec for any reason then the cordless will not work as the transmitter can not send signal from base to handset.
