We sometimes get "No information provided "when we switch programes on TV, this usually corrects itself but it has gone on quite a while now. The TV up stairs is not affected although it appear there at times. Is there anyway I can correct it.

Are you watching via Freeview or satelite?
If via Freeview it may be because some broadcasters don't always send the info data, or it might be because your digital decoder has become confused . Try switching it off at the socket for 30 second or so and try again.

We are on cable but did what you said and it works thanks so much.
Is everything in life now cured by switching off and on again?
Don't think it would work with my pacemaker PB.

Thanks all for your comments, made me laugh, which is what i need at the moment, not to good health wise. That was a tonic.
