Pikies, why are we so ill equiped to sort out these lowlives?
Ok I'm not all that bothered that one of noo labour's finest has acquired an infestation of pikies but on the more general point why don't we give the local authorities the powers to deal with this group of parasites? They give nothing to society, they steal anything that's not nailed down, leave their sh1t everywhere for the rest of us to pay to clean up. It's time for more forceful action methinks!

Daily rubbish rounds at last...but only for gipsies
As the first council in Britain announces a �40-a-year pay-as-you-throw tax, another has decided to introduce free daily rubbish collections.
In Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, householders will have to pay for each extra sack they put out.
But in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, the bins will be emptied every single morning.
That's the good news. The bad news is that the service will apply only to gipsies living on five illegal camps in the area.
Everyone else has to make do with once-a-week collections for rubbish and once-a-month for recycling.
Not everyone Little John, our rubbish bins are only collected every 2 weeks.

how about instant removal from land they trespass on. Or return the land to correct usage when they own the land but change it's usage without permisssion.

A 'pikey' is a highly derogatory slang-term meaning 'gypsie' or 'traveller' (a name which I have to say does irritate me but it's the one they use).
I'd like to point out that the kind of people being referred to are only a small part of the traveller community (much as drug dealers and rapists are only a small part of the general population). I can vouch for this through personal experience.
There are plenty of travellers (who naturally you'll never hear about, thanks to selective media reporting. I'm looking at you again, Daily Mail.) who contribute just fine and aren't unpleasant. Then you get the lowlives who abuse the lifestyle.
The problem is it's extremely difficult to persecute in 'hit and run' cases like that. The gov't could do more to gain the help of the traveller community in bringing lawbreakers forward, but naturally that's just lefto commie scum jibberish.

Swap the word 'travellers' for 'teenagers' and you will see how disingenuous this statement is. What news value is there in reporting that a gang of teenagers on an estate had behaved impeccably then all been in bed by 10pm.

I'm not saying we should get updates on the 'nice ones'. I recognise that is impossible. I'm just saying that when we get reports on cases like this, the journalists should recognise that it's their foremost moral responsibility to at least inform their readers properly (and then to make an argument).
So, when cases like this are reported, they could actually provide the public with all the information and make it clear that these aren't representative of travellers as a whole. I find that far more legitimate than tarring whole communities with the same uninformed brush. Which can then be seen repeated among some members of the public.

Just to add, and I shall say this because a stalwart member of AB comes from gypsy blood, and wouldn't wish him to be offended, is the original gypsy or Romany are a proud and dignified people and must not be tarred with the same brush as the modern "gypsy"

They live, sleep and eat in sh!t and often have vile breath. The children all carry knives and none of them have true identities, thus avoiding custodial sentences and police ID's.
The trendily named "New Age Travellers" are often even worse. Whilst the pikey abuses alcohol to excess the NAT is often a smack head robbing and thieving to feed their foul habit.
NATS can be however educated as it is a life style choice made later on in life. Some can therefore actually read, so may have a comprehension of the law, and as siad, Human Rights.
The law does not help the local land owner because this pathetic goverment favours the criminal. And as gypsies are now classified as a race, in legal terms, local marxist governments will not touch them with a barge pole.
The original decent, law abiding nomadic Romanies will be turning in their graves if they could see what modern filth now takes their place.
I believe all travellers sites should be firebombed (after rescuing the often ill treated dogs they have).

Couldn't have put it better myself Abdulmajid. Round my way they sneak around at night and syphon everyones petrol out of their cars, they also do their 'Xmas Shopping' by waiting until folk go out Xmas eve then robbing all the wrapped presents from under the trees etc.
They never have car tax or insurance and it's my belief that the local police don't nick for this because if they impound their vehicles then they can't tow their caravans. If they can't tow their caravans then they become the responsibility of the local council and no local council wants them. I think that's why they are forced to hitch up and move on (and good ridance I say).

I was watching Homes Under The Hammer the other week and a woman bought a plot of land for �40k
As there was no planning permission she bought herself a mobile home and set up home in that only to be told by the council to remove it
How is it that these pikeys are allowed to do the same and install their own electricity, water and sewage pipes which was done over the bank holiday period so they wouldn`t get caught in the act?
Surely that`s illegal, and if they are, as they say... "law abiding citizens"....why did they do it that way?
