Why do they burn out so quickly? For the price you pay they should last so much longer.

I think I need some new light fittings!

The ones I've got are the small GU10s for the ceiling. I have to keep replacing them every 5 or 6 months. Why?
I found they didn't last long in my place either tig. In my new house I have chosen light fittings that are not halogen, and without the need to keep so many different type bulbs stocked.

Hi Rabbity, glad its not just me then! Lol
Hi tig. One particular fitting drove me nuts the amount and cost of bulbs it used. Now just have energy saving and 2-3 different wattages. Much better and I know I have the bulbs in the cupboard.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna get the fittings changed. I can't carry on like this especially at over 5 a go!
