Hi. Can anyone tell me if they know of anywhere in watford to buy outdoor lights that are quite light for a party please. Don't really want to spend too much and would prefer it if they are battery operated rather than mains. Many thanks

Your best bet would be the big B & Q Superstore, however I really wouldn't recommend battery powered ones as they eat power and the batteries would die in no time. If you want a cheaper alternative you could put candles inside empty jam jars etc or poundland do garden candles, they are scented too, but I don't know how long they burn for.

Thanks Jules001. Do you know if Poundland have hanging jars to hang on tress etc? Having a garden party Friday night but outdoor lights are not working so need as much wattage as possible! Don't want to spend a fortune as fixed lights that are currently in place will be sorted once next paryt happens
Was in a Poundland today and they haven't got any hanging jars although they did have garden torches which I think need to have paraffin or something in them, they stake into the ground so you could position them where you want, although I don't know how effective they are.

Thanks very much for all your help. Have the day off tomorrow as my birthday so will wander up town and buy some of those torches. Thanks again
you're welcome, hope you have a great Birthday and that your party goes well.
