Should i still have periods

I had the contraceptive injection in December and have not had a period since. Doctor told me i may experirnce spotting which has also not happened. Is this normal or should i seek further advice

Irregular or non-existent periods are among the possible side-effects of contraceptive injections. See here:

I suggest that you need to consult your doctor to discuss whether you're suitable for further injections. I doubt that there's any great urgency but, since you need to ask anyway and it's obviously worrying you, it might be sensible to make an appointment soon.

It is perfectly normal, I have been on the injections for 8 yrs now and never had a period all the time i have been on them altho be warned about 3 years ago I had a break as advised by my doctor and it was extremely heavy , it certainly made up for lost time

yes it is normal. i have been using depo prevro ( spelling ?) for years now and i get nothing at all !!! dont worry, just enjoy it !!
