Hi i filled in a lifestylee type questionaire in the street the other day and lo and behold i received a phonecall from the company telling me i had won a 5 star holiday. I know this is too good to be true and i've to go to some shopping mall to collect the prize. Just wondering if anyone else has been down this road before with this company and what the catch is.
Thanks in advance : D}

It's probably a holiday club. Essentially you pay a membership and get "cheap holidays for N years. In reality theye are not cheap. The prize you've won or probably the flights or the hotel not both it's a load of hassle. They'll bore you into submission at the presentation, It'll be more fun to have your fingernails pulles out! don't touch with a barge pole.
An absolute no no. Remember the old saying if it sounds too good to be true then its probably a load of sh**e.
I agree, dont play that game!!!
See Jambo 1966 in shopping ! Cheers Hard@it.

Hi, in short visit this site http ://www.crimeshare.net/21y.html

The telephone number they called me from is 01268 555095, I was on my PC when a very excitable lady rang to say that I had won a 7 night 5 star holiday in either Spain or Tenerife, she was a terrific actress and sounded as if she would wet herself at my good fortune. I kept her on for a while and asked which company she was calling from, she answered "Easybookers" and I asked if they had a web site, she gleefully told me www.easybookers.co.uk, there I found there was no such site, and I did this whilst she was still rattling that I could collect the tickets locally and all they ask is that we enjoy the holiday and tell everyone how good the company is. She wasn't so excited when I had looked up the caller display number given above, there are a few websites telling you about this group, none favorable I'm afraid. I had some fun with the call alone, the holidays I think may be an expensive hell, but their phonecall delivery is superb. The general gist of it is they will try the hard sell and it could cost you thousands and its unlikely you will receive satisfaction from the reports I read. We all have better things to do with our time than be bullied into parting with our cash whilst being held captive for hours. The telephone number alone brought up a crime share site quite easily. Best left alone, your reservations are justified.

Happy holidays for the future wherever you end up!
I got a phone call yesterday and very warily followed the instructions. It was so obviously a type of scam as I could hear the usual hum of a call centre in the background. I bet everyone who did the survey won a "holiday"! Once I have the letter, I will be copying it to my friends, family and neighbourhood watch so they can all be aware of it. They want me to go to Leeds (from Sheffield) to pick up vouchers. I will not be wasting my time!
right i actually work for this company and i kno how it works alot better then every one here. Its annoys me when i see allowed of nonsence from people who dont actually have a clue
the holidays will only cost you 29:50pp booking fee your standard airport tax and your spending money.
both your flights and your accomodation are paid for
yes we do ask you to go to a presentation which is 2 hrs with no obligations .. you dont want to join .. fantasic heres ya holiday
yes there is complaints about the company . but if u can name one company that has never had a complaint ill chew off me arm
everyone who attends gets there holiday aslong as they meet what is asked of them which is explained in full b4 your asked to attend .. it comes in the form of paper work which includes full terms and conditions and full conformation.. if u dont read it properly thats not our fault
and the website is www.easy-bookers.co.uk if u had taken it down correctly then it would have come up =)
hi, i lost my job the other day and saw an advertisement to work at easybookers at the jobcentre, i'm just tryint to find out about it before i apply. people seem very negative about it so i'm wondering whether to bother?
I've also just received a tel call from a lady offering exactly this but did not believe you could get something for nothing so have not phoned the number given.

Think I will give it a miss even if it is genuine - probably too much hassle!

Cheers S
I was phoned today and was told i'd won a free holiday to spain or tennerife for two adults. I was asked to phone the head office on an 0871 number which is national rate? (10 p.p.m) to get the details. These would then be sent out for us to look at. I was also asked if i was phoning back straight away as there was the chance of 25 in Argos vouchers. Yippee!
Remeber there's no such thing as a free lunch. If it sounds to good to be true, then odds on it is.
I had a similar experience,a phonecall from a man with an Indian accent saying I had filled in a questionair on line and that I had won a luxury holiday either in Spain or the canaries, that I was to ring 0871 222 2566 to claim the prize,
which Idid not as it sounded too good to be true.
