how can i stop my ring from turning a bronze/gold colour (originally silver)? i got them cheap and really like them but they are starting to turn bronze.

If you got them cheap then they are unlikely to be silver. I suspect that they were a thin layer of silver electro-plated onto a copper rich base metal (brass?). as the silver wears away with general use or cleaning, the underlying base metal is exposed giving you the bronze/gold colour you see.

What to do? Buy new ones if they were really cheap, otherwise you might want to get them re-plated.
Would electro-plating be out of the question?

i think i migth just buy some new ones since they were cheap.
