TV Aerial Connection which way ?

The TV aerial outside the house has a weatherproof junction box with the aerial cable running in to it.
I have disconnected this and now forgotton which had the cable outer copper sheaving and which had the cable centre core cable.
Is there a correct way of connecting these ?

Please dont just answer "Yes"...Help !
If it's a single aerial, and no amplifier is involved, it doesn't matter. But it's usually obvious from the construction of the connections which bit goes where.

Thanks. Both Connections are identical on this particular aerial. I have just done eeny meeny miny mo and picked one and the tv picture is fine.
Yes it should make absolutely no difference as you are effectively connecting to either end of a loop of aluminium which forms the actual receiver part of your TV antenna. The long pole and the horizontal bars (Parasitic elements) are there to improve the 'gain' of the aerial
