short bed - 6ft long please

I'm desperately looking for a shorter length bed for my small bedroom. Either a single or a small double will fit but it needs to be 6ft (180cm) instead of 6ft 3.

I can find mattresses but not beds

It should'nt be too difficult to sew 3" off a pine bed or maybe a good retailer or manufacturer can do this.

I tied Googling Made to Measure beds and came up with the following website:
www.naturalbedcompany.co.uk who say they can accommodate individual requirements. They seem to make bedsteads which are rather bulky rather than divan-type beds but there is a "Contact us" facility on the site so you can probably make enquiries. Most tailor-made stuff tends to be more expensive than shop purchased though.

However, there's a "Contact us" facility on the site so you could enquire whether they can help you. Generally speaking, tailor made goods are more expensive than those normally available in standard size. If you try Googling "tailor made beds" you might come up with some other options.

their beds single start at 5ft and go up 5ft 6in ,6ft and 6ft 6in I know that they may even do you a double bed if you ask they are mainly storage beds

they are based in chester but deliver all across the uk

at very reasonable delivery charge
