I thought I'd make a new thread so this man been on about in previous thread so I know from the dog's home had a strop other day as manager said he had to wear thier hi vi's vest with dogs home branded on when walking dogs. The manager didn't like my yellow jacket that he use to wear for work, and told him he had to wear one of theirs. So he told her that it was the lowest form of management "do as I say, not do as I do", as her and her staff never wear one, and that they should be setting an example to us walkers. She said I haven't got enough time to talk to you about this now, I said, "well you chose now to start it", and carried on, so it went from there. The staff wear thier uniform branded with dogs home. He hasn't been back since and not heard from him much either only when ge gave me a bag of treats to give to the dogs.

Well, if it's mandatory, he'll have to wear it - or he won't get to be a volunteer. It'd be a good thing for you if he didn't come back, as you seemed to have got in an awful muddle with him - finding him creepy months ago, going out for dinner with him last week and so on.I think you should move on from this old guy now. I'm sure you'd rather concentrate on finding and...

This is the perfect time of year to tell him you are far too busy spending time with your friends and family to see him.  He should get the message that he is not a priority in your life.

Do you read any of the replies?

Yes I think if I make excuses he will stop asking. He said someone was crying and didn't want to see him leave so guess he not going back to dogs home

If I go on date after Xmas and all goes well then I'll have a good enough excuse

Are you at work today? I thought you were doing Monday Tuesday Wednesday this week.

you dont need an excuse.  Just say no.  Or even better, say nothing.  you are a ***** tease.

He said he will come back if staff wear hi vi's vest

Did you to GP re your arm, Abbey? When are you due back at work?  You used to say the older man might be obsessed with you - to me, it seems you're the one who is obsessed as you keep going on about him!

It seems to me Abbey likes the attention she gets from him ( and us). Just tell him you're not interested in going out with him or getting lifts from- he is just someone you (used to) work with.

I'm back on 2nd. Im thinking about future if when I meet this guy date goes well what happens then?

Abbey,  what do you mean 'What happens then? (if the date goes well)'? Will you still be faffing around with questions about the old/dog man?

Question Author

No I mean what do I say to the man?

Abbey, you're not really making much sense! What do you mean, 'what do I say to the man?'. You don't have to say anything!

OK lets try and explain this rationally!

IF you start dating someone, you don't have to explain anything about the gentleman from the kennels.

IF you start dating someone you don't have to explain anything to the gentleman from the kennels.

Abbey I might be wrong.  I thought you volunteered at the dogs home and  now you talk about being paid weekly.

Question Author

I thought he finally stopped asking me until today

Question Author

I volunteer at dogs home and get paid weekly from my job

So you have had contact again?

That's because of you rude attempt at humour!

You obviously take no notice of the replies people give you. You do not have to speak to the man, block his number and let him get on with his life and you get on with yours. Stop using him as a backup

Question Author

He messaged me asking do I want tp go for lunch today I said I cant
