I thought I'd make a new thread so this man been on about in previous thread so I know from the dog's home had a strop other day as manager said he had to wear thier hi vi's vest with dogs home branded on when walking dogs. The manager didn't like my yellow jacket that he use to wear for work, and told him he had to wear one of theirs. So he told her that it was the lowest form of management "do as I say, not do as I do", as her and her staff never wear one, and that they should be setting an example to us walkers. She said I haven't got enough time to talk to you about this now, I said, "well you chose now to start it", and carried on, so it went from there. The staff wear thier uniform branded with dogs home. He hasn't been back since and not heard from him much either only when ge gave me a bag of treats to give to the dogs.

Completely agree with newmodarmy - this post gets more and more confusing. You don't want to encourage him but accepted a watch from him?? Why did he even give you a watch? And you won't give it back till you get a new one! That to me is leading him on....

He hasn't got a wife and my screen was broke on my other watch he said and he bought a lady some vegan food.

I think you are all now being OTT with Abbey. Personally I don't think it is necessary to return the (cheap) watch. It wasn't an Omega or Rolex and it would need Abbey to meet up with him (as she says). I didn't expect ladies to return gifts when I stopped seeing them, (including just friends )

Fair point, Floko, but I (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) can't understand why Abbey said 4 months ago that he was making her uncomfortable with the lunches and lifts, then one month after that tells us he's stopped giving her lifts and buying her lunches, but now he's giving her lifts and buying her lunches and dinner(s)again, and then asks us if we think she should go out with him to various places.

Redhelen, No, but Abbey is in a different situation. I would not expect her to meet this man, just to return a gift, especially if it was given for a Birthday .
