Husband wants one tonight. I'm not really into Chinese but I'm willing to give anything a try.

So ... if you were ordering Chinese, what would you have?

/////Husband wants one tonight. /////

Living with someone like you, I don't blame him. -;)
Before I switched to a mostly plant based diet I would have the following:

Hot and sour soup or chicken and sweetcorn soup
Chicken in blackbean sauce or mixed curry
Egg fried rice
BBQ sauce
Prawn crackers
1/4 crispy aromatic duck to start with, plus extra pancakes because they never give you enough to use up all the meat.
I like egg fried rice, but OH prefers noodles, so we're having both tonight because daughter and SiL are coming up to stay with us.
Lady CG - I am blessed withe palate of a five-year-old, I think brown sauce is as adventurous as I ever want to get.

But for Chinses, i find Chickn Chop Suey and Egg Fried Rice does not frighten the horses.

You can see everything, and pick out the seaweed and sweetcorn or even ask them not to include them when you order.

Everything else is straightforward - chicken and nice vegetables.
Following from Etch's post - if you are partial to noodles, then Chicken Chow Mein will cover that option perfectly.

Christ on a bike, Sqad, I wasn't expecting that!! I was just sipping on a pink Cremant then!!

Mixed curry and crispy duck sound good.
King prawn chow mein with extra chilli, thank you
King prawn curry and white rice, with prawn/rice crackers.

Well he wants Singapore Chow Mein and I've chosen stuffed crabs claws as a sharing starter but we might order a few different dishes as I like variety, and he will demolish any leftovers tomorrow when I'm out with my colleagues.
Crispy Seaweed
Salt & Pepper King Prawns
Beef Green Peppers and Black Bean Sauce

If I knew how many times I've eaten those in my life I think I'd be truly horrified.
We always have a sweet and sour dish, usually king prawn and alternating each week between 'balls' and Hong Kong style, but SiL isn't partial to fish so it'll probably be sweet and sour chicken tonight. Bit too much like chicken nuggets I reckon. :-)

Life is for living not worrying, Archibaldy.

Spoiler alert: No one gets out of it alive ;)
Ha ha good point!

I always find S&S a bit too sweet and gloopy for me - I prefer Szechaun or Satay.

If I'm honest though, I'd go Thai or Indian over Chinese any day.
Beef and green pepper in black bean sauce, or, beef curry. Singapore vermicelli or chow mein with whichever meat I fancy at the time.
Crispy duck

Crispy duck and hoisin is probably a given but I'm liking the sound of King Prawn and Cashew nut.
If I were ordering Chinese then it would have to be

像你說的那樣折騰

delicious
Canton chicken, my local only makes it for us.
