off some clothes, i fear it's ruined my jacket. I accidentally dripped some salad oil dressing down
the jacket i was wearing yesterday and tried getting it out with soda water, given to me by the barmaid at the local pub, but it didn't work. Anything that might?

Vanish liquid aplied with a good scrub works well on most stains.Good Luck, may still work despite the washing

I do as roopower has suggested. Neat washing up liquid rub into the stain and then washed.
