I know lots of people that owned or leased a diesel vehicle during the relevant period. Can I claim for each one that I knew?

The wording of the ad may be a bit off but class action suits in the USA have secured substantial amounts of compensation where real world fuel consumption did not match the makers claimed figures' I think Hyundai were one of the main culprits.

That's as maybe, Dave, but I'd be very surprised if anyone got compensation because they knew someone who owned a diesel.
I think it was mainly the VW group that was the main culprit in the US dieselgate. As far as I know there has been no action against Hyundai anywhere - yet
