My pension is paid to me weekly on a Monday. I have read that the day when it is paid is based on the last 4 numbers of a person's N.I. number
If that is the case I should be paid on a Tuesday!!??
Also--why are some people paid monthly? (in arrears)

who ever was it who said it was 13 payments four weekly is correct
not to worry, i am just grateful to receive anything at all
So, Emmie, that's . . .

7 April
5 May
2 June
30 June
etc.

i.e. you'll get two payments in June. (I actually prefer to think in 'banking months', rather than 'calendar months'. In my case, there'll be a double payment on my monthly bank statement either in June or July, depending upon the exact date the statement is issued).
will just have to wait and see. don;t mind either way
thanks for the info though Chris.
No wait and see about it - what Chico says will happen.
^^^ I wish that was always true, Jack ;-)
You don't need to wait and see, open your online calendar
why would get a payment as early as 2nd June, is it because of the bank holiday...
The 5th may is exactly 4 weeks after 2nd june
Oops wrong way round
^^^ Barry's calendar seems to run backwards ;-)
Because it's 4 weeks after 5th May!
June 2nd is not a bank holiday. To calculate future paydays you subtract either 2 or 3 from the last date, depending on whether it's a 30 or 31 day month. Your payday this month was 7th. As it has 30 days your next one will be on 5th. As may has 31 days the one after that will be the 2nd.
....or buy a cheap calendar and mark the day it will be paid - that's what I do :)
i have checked the calendar and it does look ok.
Here are your paydays for the rest of 2021:
May 5th
June 2nd
June 30th
July 28th
August 25th
September 22nd
October 20th
November 17th
December 15th
will put them in the calendar -
i recently received an email from my bank advising me i could set up a text alert when DWP payments were made into my account. Santander. No need to look at any calendar then 0 they text you when the payment is in
i have received no txs when the payments went in, just checked my account on line.
you have to set it up (santander)
