I am currently living in Germany, and have no access to the internet at home, only when i'm at work. In my accommodation there are no wireless signals around, and my room doesn't have a telephone point, but I really need access to the internet.

Is there any way I can get access to the internet where I'm living?

I don't know germany, but I'd hate for your question never to get an answer. I certainly hope that my advice helps you in some way.

I'd suggest doing searches for wi-fi providers in your area. You could also try a satalite provider, although if you can find something else, you'll be much happier. With satalite your often plaged with high latancy (can cause problems with games, vpns, remote access) and you can have problems depending on the weather. Normaly wi-fi services don't have this problem. Also, you could try cable, maybe if you have a cable company. They may have something for you. If all else fails you can get a phone line. Call your phone company. If you have no jacks, they can always install one.
