If you are usng Windows XP your favorites are held in this directory (use Windows Explorer to navigate to the directory)

C:\Document and Settings\yourname\Favorites

("yourname" is the name you are using on Windows XP)

If the files are there, but not displayed on your Favorites menu in Internet Explorer, then it may be that one of the files in the directory has an invalid character stopping them all being displayed on the menu.

Have a look and see if there is an obvious one.

You could delete all the files out of the directory above(making a note of them first), but you will then need to revisit all the sites and re-add them to your favorites.
