If you had to put three things on a holiday/travel list, to do what would you put?? I've got so many but if I had to pick three they would probably be:

1. To swim with the spotted pigs in Jamaica
2. To see Niagra Falls
3. To see the Northern Lights

What are yours? And you can only choose three .

None....I'm really boring :-)
I agree with Ummmm, do nothing would be my answer.
Have done 2&3 on you list.

To see a wild penguin.

To see a wild puffin.

To snorkel with a hammer head shark.

None?? Lol. Eccles did you go specifically to see the Northern Lights or was it just pure luck?
To see the Taj Mahal ( I have already been to Pompeii and the Grand Canyon )

To see New Zealand

To see the Terracotta Warriors.
I was driving over Salisbury Plain and saw the Northern Lights.

Feel quite privileged.
I have seen Niagara Falls, from the USA side. If you do go, Smowball, try to see them from the Canadian side. You get a better view.
But don't forget to visit Goat Island, on the American side.

Ahh I didn't know that bookbinder- thanks.
Goat island??
I'd like to go to Lhasa but I don't suppose it's going to happen. And the Northern (or Southern) lights would be nice.

Never heard of spotted pigs.
Visit Banff National park

New England in the Fall
Kingsley Amis once said that he wouldn't mind going to China, as long as he could be home for Tea !
1) Take part in a ayahuasca ceremony in South America
2) Balloon flight over the Serengeti
3) Go tobogganing on The Cresta Run
I’ve done a lot of amazing stuff and seen a lot of amazing stuff, so whilst I’m always interested to see and do other things there’s not actually anything left on my wish list.

(Niagara Falls are far more spectacular from the Canadian side).
New England in the Fall is wonderful, especially if you do it as an independent traveller. Don't forget Vermont and up-State New York....the Adirondacks are spectacular in the fall.
1. Tour New York City
2. See the Northern Lights
3. Explore Poland
1. Drive the Pacific Coast Highway
2. Do Route 66
3. See the Northern Lights.

Don't go to Jamaica to see the piggies, they're in the Bahamas.
Rocky....I drove Rt 66 in 1994, when I left BT, and before I took up my new job. It was easily the best holiday I ever had. I did it in a Pontiac Grand Am. I took about 5 weeks to get to LA and back to Chicago.

I even took a special cassette tape with me, with just the right music. I played "24 hours from Tulsa" by Gene Pitney, when I was exactly 24 hours away ! And I almost wore out the bit where I had copied "Get your Kicks on Rt 66" by Nat King Cole ....happy days !

I would do it again tomorrow, if my health and finances would let me !
