AB ED ~ please could you add another category to the reasons for reporting a question; something along the lines of inane, pointless, gratuitously crude.

My sentiments exactly!
rabet... just do as I do and ignore the pointless and inane ones... chatterbank used to be quite fun...

We definitely need a Poor Taste choice in the reasons for reporting .  Some things recently have made me cringe & I'm not an old fuddy-duddy.  (ok, so I am old!)

Yay Robinia- that was my suggestion the other day!
Yes ...And why do you ban perfectly innocent crossword answers. This is not the first time either.http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Quizzes-and-Puzzles/Quest ion151654.html
And you have now removed my answer completly which was the same answer the other poster gave.
You don't seem to remove the "inane, pointless, and gratuitously crude." So why are you picking on me?
I'll ration your cake!
It is the questions posted that are obviously by the same person, trying to set off some wind up aggressive thread, for what I assume they consider entertainment, that are the most annoying.  Inane stuff we can ignore, but when the rubbish starts to be offensive it is a pain. I don't think it matters which option is selected for reporting, it will alert ABed to the thread and it will be pulled pending a perusal.

what a bunch of tunts!!!!(:)that would cover most things(:)

yes, ideally when you clicked on this option, not only would the post be instantly deleted, the person who posted it would vanish in a puff of smoke.

Don't know why AB Ed hasn't thought of this already, really. It would quickly restore a much-missed sense of decorum to AB.
