Does anyone know if it is possible to do that thing they do in movies where they pull a necklace off without it breaking? if so, how does it work?

It has to break in order to come off, unless you undo the clasp. In the movies they break at the back and in one piece because of a weak link. Let's not forget that what you see in the movies isn't real, especially jewellery.

You could leave it undone and tie it at the back with something that breaks real easy, But dont go anywhere where it would be lost if it came of on its own.
