** This is from the BBC iPlayer site: Why can't I access any content on BBC iPlayer on Wednesday 19th March 2014? We are currently experiencing technical difficulties which have affected our service. We are investigating and hope to have them resolved as soon as possible.
The BBC website is also very slow at this time of posting. They must be having technical problems. Probably folk reading all the guff about the Budget today.

No iPlayer last night (19th March around 9.30 pm) and again tonight, am getting Media Selection Request Failed. Come on BBC, why don't you have some way of posting on your site when there are problems and when you expect to fix them?
You'd think the useless *** would at least post a "Normal service will resume..." apology on the home page.
Last time I saw such blatant disregard for a no-show was when The Prodigy *** off for fifteen minutes during a technical hitch on the main stage at Glastonbury a few years ago. I'd expect someone with scarey makeup and a twin mohican to re-appear on stage with no apology, but not dusty old Aunty.
I've just watched 'DIY SOS' broadcast on BBC 1 Wednesday evening without a problem, and I'm now going to watch 'Sewing Bee' on BBC 2 from Tuesday, and I don't think I'll have a problem with that.
21:43 here and I've been getting this for the last half hour, it's driving me nuts. Yes, an announcement on the iPlayer home page stating they're experiencing difficulties would be nice instead of this blooming stupid message appearing! Not a happy bunny :(
You get what you pay for, I haven't had a licence for 20 (no TV), Iplayer is free if you don't watch live stuff!
Some have started working again, movies and comedy.
