Mrs BT was tidying the kitchen cupboards a day or two ago and came across a small tin of loose tea leaves. (a Christmas present from Fortnum and Mason)

Wow, I had quite forgotten what a decent cup of tea tasted like, it is magnificent.

Will we continue with loose teal leaves when it is finished? Probably not.

Urgh!

One stray tea leaf in my mouth makes me gag
I hope you've got a tea strainer!
can you really get a whole tea leaf in your mouth?

There is a built in strainer in the teapot Mrs O!
Blue toffee - you are obviously dead posh.

Here in the Overall household we are common and use a (slightly bent) tea strainer
I bet it's really a sieve, lol!

mrs_o ...

You think a bent tea strainer is common?

I live on Planet Teabag In Mug.
I bought OH a doofa from Laura Ashley at CHristmas, it reminds me of test tube holders from school, squeeze it open dip it into loose tea, you get a mesh ball filled with tea to put into your cup, he swears it's a better cuppa. Need to make sure it's dry though otherwise it's such a mess!
i thought it grew in bags on a tree in india somewhere
Like spaghetti!^^^

Yes, but do you have to stick your little pinky out when drinking the tea? (No rude comments, please!)
My Mum always uses leaf tea, (only PG not posh stuff like BT's) it does taste nicer but makes a lot of mess which I cant be bothered with.
Never drink the stuff
