If I want to post a letter but I don't have a stamp, will it reach it's destination if I sellotape 30p to the envelope?

i work at royal mail and I've never seen anyone stick money on before you have to be careful that the money doesnt come off as people are not gentle with the mail where I work! Also the money could potentially get stuck in the machines that process the mail.
Why not stick the required amount of money for a Condom,on your penis, and see if it stops your g/f getting pregnant! Only theoretical.

After a heated discussion with my husband about this last night, I have decided to try it and see what happens.

I predict one of two things - the letter will arrive sans 30p (possibly with a stamp on it); a card will arive to say there is a letter with postage to pay on it being held at the sorting office (probably minus the 30!).

Will keep you 'posted'.

.. and people wonder why the price of postage goes up. Because they have to tit around with people not putting stamps on.

Perhaps tonight I might stick 5 on my forehead and catch a train.

I tried that last night mystress, I lost 1.50 and its too soon to know if my g/f is pregnant. I plan to search for the 1.50 tonight. Ive got one of those long sticks for picking things up with, for people who cant bend and a very powerfull torch.

The g/f doesnt seem tooo keen though :-)

Bit dodgy if you end up with 1.75....:-)
perhaps this thread is in the wrong section :-)
