I am thinking of a change in car.
I didnt consider a KIA until I researched the new Rio model.
My C270 CDI mercedes has been great but I am now a home owner and its not practical to run anymore!

Firstly, a ver attractive motor, good spec, 1.4l petrol engine giving excellent efficiency. Enough room for what we need. Excellent safety features. And then there is ther KIA 7 year warranty pacckage on all new models. A snip for £9995 it would seem.

Any KIA owners, opinons would be most welcome........

Hyundai (sorry Honest) John in the Telegraph recommends the Hyundai range on a weekly basis, worth a look perhaps.
I used to work in the motor trade - mostly Ford but did work for Kia for a while. I was at the Rio launch - and sold the first Rio in the country (I have the certificate somewhere) - Not bad cars but the build quality is often not good. Can be a bit basic in the cheaper models. Engines usually good - can be a bit underpowered in some models. They are cheap and you get what you pay for.
we have a rio,1st new car in decades, very happy with it

Got to weigh up what we need.
I was a batchelor 18 months ago and had more to spend on luxuries such as a nice car. But now I am a homeowner and my partner has a toddler, we will probably be making an addition to the family within a few years. Got to get priorities in check, the KIA just ticked a few boxes upon initial look but I will probably look at 50 different cars before actually deciding!!
7 year warrantry with their fixed price servicing,
can be expensive in the long run (so i have been told)
but i do like the look of the new shape Rio - but don't believe ANY of the fuel figures quoted by Kia themselves.

Oh I never do gsr600!! MPG is a great selling tool but I take it as a guide only!
we prob not get brst fuel eco,as rarely get to 6th gear,as mainly short trips
I've got a Kia Venga. Had it for two years and I love it! It's a motability car so I get a new one next year, but have said to my husband only this morning that I'm staying with Kia.
