Hubby had his yesterday. As predicted all went well and he is fine.

Many thanks to all to wished him well.

Interesting day all round, fire alarm in hospital went off as he was being wheeled back onto the ward.

All staff were duly thanked and a Thank You card is winging it's way to them all.

Ooh a segment of cartilege (sp), he said it looked like plastic. About the size of the ring-finger nail. They tidied up up minscus (?..cartiilege) and scraped a few bits and pieces under the knee-cap and I get the impression it was getting the nasties out and a tidy up. (Love the terminology, loose bodies lol)

6 weeks of him getting frustrated is not thrilling me. He's taking off the giant bandage later today (24 hours after op)
A short of surgical "short back and sides"....thanks alba.
Sort of^^^^

At least the pain and discomfort is the getting better and not the getting worse. :)

thank you 2sp. x

He really is doing well. The pysio brought him a 4-legged frame to use, but he was up with his stick to the bathroom. (It's Health and Fitness, I can say that)
She was very pleased. He's tootled across the road to visit his dad this afternoon. (I'm just hoping it's not too much too soon tho)
