I'm getting married in the Dominican Republic in October and haven't a clue where to start with getting my documents translated!

I know the single status declaration cannot be over 3 months old but I didn't know if I can make a start with getting my birth certificate etc translated.

I've spoken to my travel agents who have been no help at all. If anyone can give me any advise on where to start and who to speak to that would be a massive help as I'm starting to panic now!!!

Thanks

my friend was looking to wed in the Dominican republic and they got loads of documents and help from the Dominican Embassy. They decided not to do it in the end, it was going to cost hundreds of pounds (something like £600 as I recall) for the translations.
career poss for you boxtops in marriage arrangements?? (not the illegal sort).

seriously, I am impressed by that advice.
LOL DT - weddings are not much different from conferences, all things considered!

I only know this because my pals were dismayed at the red tape and how long it would all have taken to get the documents signed and sealed.
