Does anyone know if there's anything available to keep pipes from freezing? Something like a long thin electric blanket ?

Lagging.
a propogating mat..thje type you use on window sills? or keep a tap dripping in the cold weather helps stop pipes freezing
Just use heat tape.
You apply along/around the pipe like a thin tape and connect up to the power at one end. I have a few farmer friends who use them.
Here are several depictions of the heat tape AlBags references. It's used a lot here in the U.S. for various applications. People that live in trailer houses (caravans?) use themto protect the waterpipes that are connected to thier trailers...We also use them in and around barns and other outbuildings...
Ooops... here's the link:

Sorry for the long URL...

As Al suggests, heat tape will do the job but it needs to be fitted carefully to avoid potential fire risks. See here for installation advice:

Hi! Happy New Year! Long time, no see!
We Brits generally refer to the living accommodation which can instantly be hitched to a car's tow bar as a 'caravan'. Living accommodation which is in theory movable but is in practice is permanently sited with mains services connected is usually referred to as a 'mobile home' (or, occasionally, as a 'park home').
You may find at Farmers/Agricultural suppliers. Many farmers use it to maintain water flow to feed/water troughs, etc.
