I am looking for a linear halogen bulb which is approx 100mm and up to 150w (for an uplighter). All the bulbs I've found locally and online have been 78mm or 118mm. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks

Apologies if this is a dumb question but ...

Have you taken the old bulb out of the lamp to measure it?

Sorry I can only find 117mm and 78mm................what make is your uplighter?
The old lamp should have the size and wattage on one of the insulated bits at the end. Places like B&Q and John Lewis usually have a wide range. When replacing make sure you keep your fingers off the glass tube as any natural skin oils may cause the new bulb to fail early.

Many thanks everyone. Yes - took the old bulb out (and thanks for advice McMouse for advice on replacing... I realised how fragile the bulb was when it broke on being removed!). Not sure of the make - it's at home and I'm at work and the uplighter is second hand. I will report back....
