plasma on wall in bedroom

who do i get to fit a tv on our bedroom wall, a plasma screen. there isnt any aerial point and although we have sky, i believe it sometimes happens that you have to watch the same upstairs as what is being watched downstairs which i dont want, no football!!! who do i call?

if you want to watch different things to those on main tv then youd need sky multiroom, which is about £10 extra a month.

For anything else, like freeview (some tvs have it built in, others need a box) then youd have to have an aerial to the tv

do you actually own the TV yet? or will you be buying one?

If you're going to be buying one I wouldn't suggest plasma for wall mounting, they are hugely heavy. LCD TVs are about 1/4 of the weight.

(and as red said, contact sky about multiroom of you want to watch separate sky channels upstairs)

so you shall need an aerial. Have you got one already for the main TV? you may be able to split the signal.
It can be a DIY job, or you may want to ask at local TV shops if they can recommend anyone, or check yellow pages for TV / aerial installation.

As chuck says, go for LCD if you havnt got the tv yet and you will probably find it has freeview built in, saving you having to buy a box.

If you don't want it linked to the sky box then you call an aerial installer and get them to put an aerial point where you want the TV.

thanks, there is no electrical socket either ive just realised on the one big bare wall we want to use, could feed it from the corner in through the airing cupboard i guess. what a farce to escape the football eh, lol!
