I have a two door fridge freezer,I have just bought a chest freezer and I was wondering can I turn off the freezer section of my fridge and just run the refrigerator on its own?

This must be a record for AB, One question, a one-word answer, and nothing further to say.
Almost all modern fridge freezers have a single compressor for the entire unit and it's all controlled by a single thermostat mounted inside the fridge part.

though as claymore didn't see the need to mention any details about what fridge freezer they have I guess I may be wrong.

(I wonder if these people would walk into a car parts shop and ask the guy behind the counter "can I have a part for my car" and expect to get the correct part)
