Since Ocado is linked to Waitrose (as part of John Lewis) you should have few problems with the quality of fresh foods. (Waitrose has the best cheese counter of all the big supermarkets).

Until recently Waitrose was MUCH dearer than all of the other supermarkets for many products but they're now advertising that they've got 1000 'household essentials' at the same price as Tesco. (Even so, a bill from Ocado could still be quite a bit dearer than a similar one from Tesco or, even cheaper, Asda).

WITH REGARDS TO INTERNET SHOPPING, BECAUSE OCADOS STUFF COMES FROM A WAREHOUSE, RATHER THAN THe shop, they wil;l only let you order whAT they have in stock, so there will never be that annoying thing where they have "substituted" something for you
