I have just started laying some red quarry tiles on my kitchen floor, after grouting, despite wiping over with a damp sponge a white haze is still left.Anybody able tell me how to get them clean  please ? .

The white haze is from you grouting?
Wipe with lots more clean water.
If this is marks attached to the tiles, our builder recommended using a pation cleaner that you can buy at B&Q and other such stores, but obviously use with care and test in an inconspicuous corner first. This can really help.
Failing that, have you left long enough for the grout to fully dry? maybe every time you wipe, you are just picking up more grout?

Wipe with dry old newspapers.
This is normal with newly installed tile and grout... mix about 1/2 cup common vinegar with 1 gallon warm water and wash tiles... dry with clean cloth.  You can increase the amount of vinegar as required...
